Chris came to my house early and diagnosed my hot water tank issue. After I decided to replace the tank, Chris left and went and purchased new tank. He removed the old tank, which was in a very small closet. The new tank was slightly larger and therefore Chris had to re-plumb a sink, add the new tank and put everything back together again. Chris extremely cheerful, helpful and did a WONDERFUL job. I highly recommend.

When we bought our home a little over a year ago, we understood that the furnace would need to be replaced within a couple of years. I was hoping it would hang on through this winter, but the old fella passed quietly one cold February night. I called Mountain Air because there happened to be a magnet with their number on the duct above my deceased furnace, and they had a tech in my home within an hour. Things moved quickly and smoothly from there, and I now have a completely new system. I appreciated the responsiveness and professionalism of every single person I dealt with through this project, from the person who answered my initial call, forward. The installation techs were fantastic: quick, efficient, friendly and their final product looks great and runs perfectly. They have set a new standard for service, in my book, and other service companies will have a high bar to clear if they want a five-star review from me.

Our furnace shut down in the middle of the night in February. We called Mountain Air at 8:00 a.m. and they had a technician to us within an hour and 15 minutes. It took him about 2 minutes to diagnose what was wrong and fix it!(it was a pressure sensor connected to the blower fan) They are very reasonably priced and the tech(Cory) is very knowledgeable. I will recommend them to everyone I know!

Shout out to Chad(sales rep.), Scott and Rick(tech.).These guys are awesome! I have an old 73' home and had a very messy setup. These guys came in and really took care of me. I had them run a whole new trunk and duct line to separate out the basement from the upstairs to be on two separate systems. It was a task! Patching and running new lines to replace the old on the original trunk, than run a full new trunk with new lines for the basement. They did a killer job! This outfit is very tight and clean. Without me asking, they always cleaned up and ran the vacuum at the end of every days work. They always double checked with me to make sure where they were putting holes to run the new lines would be okay. They would always make clean cuts on the holes so if desired you could use the same piece to re patch the hole. If I ever had questions or needed something changed, they were on it and accommodating to my requests. If they said they will be there at this time and will be doing 'x' they were always on time and followed through. There prices are fair and there customer service rocks.I recommend these guys to anyone!

The best experience I've ever had with a company! My furnace went out...on the coldest day of the year of course, so I called Mountain Air. They were out to my house within the hour. Trevor did a diagnostic test and found a faulty fan motor. He also stated that he accidentally broke the igniter but that he would absorb the cost himself. His honesty was very impressive. I decided to just have a new furnace installed so Trevor left a space heater with me to get through the night and told me a salesman would be with me shortly. Chad was out in 30 minutes and coordinated the new purchase in a very simple, painless manner. He even added the discount that Trevor promised; not necessary in light of scrapping the old furnace, but a great show of customer goodwill! Very impressive. He also left a space heater. The very next day, two technicians installed the new system. Both of them very helpful and professional (Tony and Mac/Matt?). Upon completion, they noted some concerns they had with the new system and a question I had about the noise. The next day another technician arrived (Chris), fixed all the issues and cut the noise down dramatically. What an amazing experience! Great communication amongst all departments in meeting my needs. They have a customer for life in me and I'll recommend them to everyone I know who needs help in heating and air conditioning.

Last night I arrived home from a business trip and my daughter is getting married tomorrow. In the middle of the night, my furnace quit working. I messed around with it for a couple of hours and realized I needed to call in the professionals. I called at around 7:45am they were at my house by 8:30 and left my home with repairs done and area vacuumed by 10:15 this included them running to get a Hepa filter that they didn't have in stock to make sure my system was operating efficiently. Every person I spoke with had a sense of urgency and a high level of professionalism. The last thing I needed was to deal with furnace issues while my family was here for the wedding. Daniel did a fantastic job, took the time to explain everything to me, then let me do my work while he did his. Great company, great serviceman. Thank you everyone that made this happen.Corey

My furnace sounded like we had a poltergeist in the basement and I was sure the heater was on its last leg and with a newborn I was afraid the heat was going to go out. The furnace is more than 15 years old and was afraid it would need replacing. I called mountain air and said they would have someone out in a few hours, they came super quick. A gentleman named Daniel with a freaking cool accent (spoke perfect English ) came and fixed the furnace, checked for carbon monoxide, changed the filters,cleaned everything up. Very thankful at how thorough he was and offered to put me on a maintenance plan to come check the a/c in the spring which I'm grateful for since it would just escape my brain. All in all very impressed with Daniels customer service, he was friendly and as a girl fully appreciate when someone comes into my house that looks clean, clean and pressed clothing, professional, it puts one at ease. Oh yeah and price was fair (googled it)

They showed up less than an hour after I called. He told me that the heater motor needed to be replaced. Went and got the part,and installed the motor. He was professional ,and cleaned up his mess. I will call them again ,and use there services in the future.

Dave was awesome! I loved that they gave me a heads up when they were on their way. He drove through the horrendous weather to get to us and get our furnace working again. Our furnace stopped working the night of a massive snow storm, because, why not, right?! Ha! He was so thorough, happily went into SLC to get the right part, and was so friendly. I’d definitely recommend them and will use them again! Becky took my call at 7:30am and was so pleasant and super helpful. Props to her, as well! All around a great experience.

I purchased my furnace and A/C unit from Mountain Air. I have purchased the maintenance package the past couple of years and it is a great value that ensures piece of mind on cold Winter days or hot Summer days. Technicians call before they come to tell you an exact time and you receive a text message with their pictures, so you know it's really them. Technicians are always friendly! Chris was the technician that came today and he was awesome!

This company was recommended to me by a friend. Over all they were great and I had an amazing experience with them. Everything from their sale rep, technicians, and the customer service rep was great! Everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful. The quality of work was great! My tech Chris gave me a complete brake down of his diagnostics. He left me with no questions to ask and he fixed my issue in less than an hour. On top of fixing my initial issue, he even gave me advice on my capacitor being incorrect and gave my furnace a tune up. I've called Mountain Air twice now. Both times they were able to send someone out same day, and as my luck would have it, I got a tech named Daniel both times. Daniel is excellent! He arrives when the office said he should. He is efficient, and he knows his stuff. The first call was for my furnace not working. The second was for my AC not working. He was thorough, and he had the parts needed to fix the issue with him, so it wasn't a long wait. I'm so grateful. I will always go back to Mountain Air, and I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Daniel and the Mountain Air team are absolutely amazing.

Thankfully we were recommend to Mountian air! I spoke with Myra on the phone and she was so helpful with letting me know their pricing and what is all included in that. I let her know I was shopping around to see if I could find the best deal. Myra was so honest and told me to ask certain questions because sometimes places will charge a base rate and then an hourly if it takes longer. This was something I didn’t know so I was very appreciative. I called a couple other places, but much like she said, their base rate was anywhere from $60-90 and then additional fees on top of that. So I called mountain air back. She was able to get a tech out to me within 30-40 minutes from my call. Chris J was our tech and he was great! Professional, nice and very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to explain what was going on with our furnace. He took care of our problem and was in and out in about 30 minutes. I’m so glad it was a simple fix, but had it been something much larger I absolutely would have trusted him with the job. I will definitely be using Mountian Air in the future and will recommend them to everyone! Thank you guys for your amazing customer service!!

This is an outstanding HVAC company. Woke up to a cold house, furnace would not come on, called and within an hour Daniel was here. He quickly diagnosed the faulty part, determined it was under warranty, located a replacement, drove to the supplier and returned with the replacement part, and within a total of three hours, from phone call to completion, the furnace was working again. I will definitely use Mountain Air the next time I have an HVAC issue.

This review is for a Mountain Air technician - Chris!Mountain Air installed a Lennox furnace in my home about 1-1/2 years ago. I've been frustrated with the Lennox intelligent thermostat from the beginning. Mountain Air sent technicians out a couple of times early on. (They were always willing to send techs out, but usually it would start working before the techs showed up.)The techs would get it fixed and it would eventually quit again. I usually could get it working (I thought) by playing with the thermostat. (It turns out there was a short and it would eventually start working by itself.)Today I couldn't get it working. I called Mountain Air and they sent Chris out. He is awesome!! He spent hours here making a few changes from the install. Finally, he called Lennox tech support and they did some troubleshooting until they found a short in some wiring (which has obviously been there for a long time). He had gotten it working, but he spent the extra time finding out why it kept quitting. That is customer service!!! I hope to finally enjoy my heating and cooling system.Thanks Chris and Mountain AirJon Grove

Perfect customer service. My house was built in 1947. The old wiring threw a curve on Christmas eve. I wanted to spend time with my grandkids,rather than miss having them fix it then, I had them bring a couple of space heaters which kept things toasty warm. I told them wartime I got off of work on the 26rh. They were waiting at my house when I pulled in the driveway. I expected to have to pay for the electrical work. They just did it.

Mountain Air came within the hour that I called them and promptly discovered the problem. We chose to replace our ancient furnace. Chad left space heaters to get us through the night and Kameron was there first thing in the morning to replace our furnace. After it was installed, Kameron showed me how to program my thermostat and then emailed me a detailed checklist of all the work he had performed. 10/10 would recommend!

In December 2018 I had Mountain Air install a whole-home steam humidifier in my new home. I had two bids and they were almost identical but the other company (Comfort Solutions) was a month out on installs and Mountain Air did it in a week. When I called yesterday because it stopped working (canister needs to be changed annually) I was expecting to hear that it couldn’t be done until after the holidays. Nope—they came the next day and took care of it. The service tech told me that they have at least 9 crews, so they can usually get to homes really quickly for service and installs. My late husband was a service tech for a beverage company and I know for a fact that service is everything. The sooner you can get to your clients the happier they are with your company/brand.

Our furnace woke us up in the middle of the night making horrible noises. I called at 7am and they sent Chris out within an hour to check it out. Turned out my furnace wheel was bad and had to be replaced.They are trying something new these days where they do a check up on your furnace and AC unit for a low cost and they waive the diagnostic fee. It is a great piece of mind program and we recommend people look into it.

From start to finish we had an excellent experience with Mountain Air. We had problem after problem with our central air and heat setup, purchased from a different company. I decided to call Mountain Air because of their good reviews. I wasn’t disappointed. They did a free 2nd opinion and gave us our options regarding repairs and replacement. There was no pressure at all. We decided on replacement. It was a 2 day job. Steven, the technician who did the work, and his assistant were friendly, efficient, and didn’t complain about having to work outside in the frigid, windy, rainy weather. Steven carefully explained how our system worked, and made sure my questions were answered.I’m completely satisfied with Mountain Air!

Everyone who has come out to do service have been excellent at their job. I recently had Tony and Michael come out to put in a new register because of a kitchen remodel I had done. They were able to do this without rearranging the cabinets that I have downstairs in the laundry room. They would let me know what they were doing and getting my okay for them to do it. We highly recommend Mountain Air! They are so professional and they care about customer service. After many years, our furnace stopped working and we knew it wasn’t worth fixing. Mountain Air brought space heaters in while we were without heat. An honest and personable sales rep met with us, gave fair options, and a great payment plan with no interest. An excellent crew came the next day to begin the install. They are very knowledgeable and we felt perfectly comfortable and safe having them in our home. When we became concerned about something the first evening of the two-day install, they came immediately to address the issue. We knew they had our best interests at heart. This morning we woke up to our furnace blowing cold air. I immediately called Mountain Air at 7am and the phone was answered by a friendly employee who assured us that a technician would be able to stop by today. A few hours later I received a call from the technician, Daniel, notifying me he would be on his way to my home in the next 20 minutes. Once Daniel arrived, it was immediately apparent that he was a knowledgeable technician. Maybe more important, he was extremely friendly and pleasant to work with. Less than an hour after the initial call from Daniel, he had our furnace fully functioning. I'm very happy that we happened to call Mountain Air this morning and will be using them again in the future.

So, our furnace/air condition combo was installed in May 2018. Why did it take so long to leave a review? Well, life happens I guess. Needless to say, our install and subsequent "well system" checks have gone well this last year and a half. Why have I chosen to leave a review now? I'm glad you asked. Last night, probably one of the coldest evenings this year, an Error pops up on our fancy digital thermostat explaining why our furnace won't ignite. After our prompt call back and close communications, a tech (Cole) was dispatched to our home. He made quick work of diagnosing the problem and had it repaired and blowing warm air in a very appropriate amount of time. We appreciate his and his company's hard work to install and maintain a quality product. We will continue to enjoy our HVAC system for years to come. Thank-you.

Jeff was our tech and he was very informative and nice! He has everything explained down To the very last detail. I feel that this company is honest as they come. He gave us options to fix and replace. Most companies come in and tell us “ you need a new furnace!” Thank you so much for your honesty when it came to the heating and cooling off our home!!

Daniel is my guy. Always cordial and a pleasure to talk with. Her doesn't speak industry jargon but uses language anyone can understand. I am a Save Plan customer and it keeps my system running good. Zack was a huge help. He was very patient with my many questions and took the time to explain all kinds of things I didn't understand so I could feel better about what the issue was and how it might be addressed. There were places he could have tried upselling us, but instead he gave me some helpful tips that could help us save money down the line -- this showed me that good customer service was more important than finding more opportunities to charge us for additional work. This was an amazing experience with this company. My son lives in Ogden and works in Salt Lake. He can’t meet anyone during work hours. So they went and had his furnace up and running within two hours without him having to be there. Can’t say enough about their customer service. My elderly mom's furnace went out over the weekend. I called another business as that's who had fixed a problem before, but they couldn't come out for 3 days! Mountain Air was able to fit us in today!! They sent me a text so I knew who would be coming to her home, which I really appreciate. What a great company. They had a quick response returning my phone calls. Chad was great he explained the proper equipment I needed. Special thanks to Anthony and Tommy the installation crew for working on Labor Day. They really cared about my home and made everything easy and comfortable for me with pulling out the old unit putting in the new one and cleaning up after they were done. Cole was very professional and a pleasure to have tune up my furnace and air conditioner. He showed me the readings on the Capacitor from the air conditioner, so I knew that it was going bad. He also explained what it could cause to go wrong if it wasn’t changed out. Our air conditioner started blowing warm air Monday night. We called Mountain Air and they were able to get us an appointment the next day. The technician (Daniel) showed up by 8:00 the next morning and got to work. He quickly diagnosed a problem with hopes that replacing those parts would get our unit working again. Sadly it did not, we also required an additional part that he did not have in his van. However, one of his co-workers was able to bring the part to our home while Daniel starting disassembling the unit to be ready for arrival. All in all the service was very quick and efficient and I was updated with prices and things to expect if replacing certain parts did not fix our issue. I would recommend Mountain Air and use their services again.

My wife and I redid our utility suite (Furnace, AC, water heater, water softener, and a gas line to the stove) and everyone was completely professional.Our original contact (Chad) got us hooked up with financing and a decent price, and all of the installers did an amazing job working through the problems associated with an older home.One guy, the lead tech (Kameron), though was amazing. We did a lot of work with Mountain Air and a few other companies for other renovations and this guy stood in a class of his own.I'd return to Mountain Air for a lot of reasons, but I'll refer everyone I know there because of Kameron.UPDATE:Mountain Air reused a breaker that, apparently, was at the end of its life (I can't fault MA for this, and an electrician buddy of mine agrees). The Breaker failed, and MA replaced it and did a full service check for safety as a warranty repair. They set me up with an overnight A/C unit to keep us comfortable while we waited for the breaker to be repaired the next morning.I had company over for a BBQ during all of this and they were blown away by the professionalism and level of service of the technician (Alex); three of four of the people I had over asked for MA's contact info based solely on this interaction.The company cares, guys. If you're about to drop $5-15k on new utilities, and you're doing your homework, take a quick dive through my reviews and see how often I write more than 50 words. I stand by these guys, they're the real deal.

A/C went out during the night before the Pioneer Day holiday. Mtn Air was open and sent out a technician before the end of the afternoon. He was able to diagnose the issue fast and get new parts installed so we could cool down our house for our newborn. Daniel was very nice and courteous. He didn't service our whole system like we were told he would, but I'd call them again in a hitch if it meant getting fast service.

I don't normally leave reviews but these guys are great. It was one of the hottest days of the year and my AC unit went out. I gave them a call and they had somebody out very quickly. Before they came they gave us a call and left us a text with a picture of the service technician they were sending. This made my wife very comfortable knowing who was going to be showing up to do the work. They were very professional and knowledgeable and had my AC unit back up and working quickly. I will be recommend these guys to everyone. If I ever have anything go wrong with my heater or AC unit I know who to call. Mountain Air thank you. You guys are the best.
