INDOOR AIR QUALITY SERVICES IN OGDEN, UTAH

Helping Weber, Davis & Morgan Counties Families Breathe Easier

At Mountain Air Conditioning & Heating, we fight for clean, healthy air for your Utah home or business. Our priority is to keep your family, your facilities, and your businesses safe.

Do you know how clean the air in your home is? Your home should be a haven, but if you are like most Americans, a number of indoor air quality problems are probably lurking in your home. In fact, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has found that most homes have indoor air pollutant levels that are two to five times greater than the outdoors, and indoor air quality is listed as one of the top five environmental risks to public health.

If you are unsure about the quality of your indoor air, or if you know you have a problem, Mountain Air Conditioning & Heating is here to help. We have a number of indoor air quality services that can help keep your home safe, so your family can breathe free.

Call (801) 416-2215 or contact us online to speak with our experts and learn more about our air quality services.

Improve Filtration to Improve Indoor Air Quality

One of the first steps in improving indoor air quality is improving filtration. Your HVAC system has an air filter that traps debris and allergens. By upgrading to an air filter with a high MERV (minimum efficiency reporting value) rating, you can equip your HVAC system to trap more of the air pollutants in your home. However, you need to choose a filter that is compatible with your system, because a filter that traps too much won’t be able to move air, which could actually damage your HVAC system. Mountain Air will help you find a filter that’s both thorough and efficient.

Call us today at (801) 416-2215 to discuss the right air filter for your home.

Germicidal Ultraviolet Light

Ultra violet light is germicidal, meaning it deactivates bacteria, virus, and other pathogens and destroys their ability to multiply and cause disease. At Mountain Air, we provide germicidal ultraviolet light to keep your Utah home safe and healthy.

Protect Your Family from Deadly Carbon Monoxide

Carbon monoxide is an odorless, invisible gas that can be fatal if you inhale it. Unfortunately, if your home is filling with carbon monoxide, you may have no warning. That’s why we recommend the use of carbon monoxide detectors. Talk to our team about which detector would be best for your home.

Are you prepared for a carbon monoxide problem? Talk to Mountain Air Conditioning & Heating to learn what you need to do.

Improve Indoor Air Quality with Humidifiers & Air Cleaners

Finally, Mountain Air can help you install humidifiers and air cleaners to further improve your indoor air quality. Keep humidity levels at the ideal level to reduce dust and respiratory discomfort no matter what the current weather forecast entails. Additionally, installing a whole-house air cleaner can help further remove air pollutants so you can be sure the air you’re breathing is clean.

Call (801) 416-2215 today to learn how we can help improve the quality of your indoor air and the overall comfort of your home!

Had Carson come out and look at my partially unfinished basement to add some vents and a return. Carson was prompt and arrived the same day as when I called. The crew of Landon and Ernesto came out the next day. They were quick and professional. Great experience with everyone involved.

From the time I got in touch with Hilary, she came right out the same day, a Friday and gave me a quote, which was within my budget. She was very thorough and professional and extremely knowledgable and friendly. We even discussed ways to save me money, which was extremely helpful to me. All said and done and work approved, she said they could star on the coming Monday (2 days) Wow. The crew of Landon, Ernesto , Jake and Tony showed up right on time Monday morning. Keep in mind that the work to be done is in a crawl space, not a basement, and required them to remove all the existing, damaged aluminum duct work The men were allocated 4 days to do the job. They were done that same day, saving me three days of labor which made my final invoice even less than originally quoted. Now my ductwork is up to current code. This company has my full endorsement and reccomendation to anyone who needs HVAC work done. Many thanks for the high quality work they did. I now have sufficient heatin and A/C air flow to every register in the house. THANK YOU!!!
